Not Receiving Any Notifications

Cause 1: Wrong module. Full email notifications require the XDR + SIEM module. The XDR-only module has limited notification support. Fix: Verify your module in Settings → Module Configuration. If you’re on XDR-only and need full notifications, consider upgrading to XDR + SIEM. Cause 2: Spam filter. ContraForce notification emails may be caught by your email provider’s spam filter. Fix:
  1. Check your spam/junk folder
  2. Add ContraForce’s sender email address to your allowlist
  3. Ask your email administrator to whitelist the ContraForce sending domain

Receiving Notifications for Wrong Severity Levels

Cause: Severity filters are misconfigured. Fix:
  1. Go to Settings → Notifications
  2. Review and adjust the severity level filters
  3. Save changes

Notifications Going to Wrong Recipients

Cause: Recipient list needs updating. Fix:
  1. Go to Settings → Notifications
  2. Update the email recipient list
  3. Remove incorrect addresses and add the right ones
  4. Save changes

Notification Delays

Expected timing: Real-time notifications (XDR + SIEM module) should arrive within minutes of an incident being created. If delays exceed 15 minutes consistently, contact support@contraforce.com with your workspace name.
